In 2017 First Baptist Church Madison underwent a visioning process in order to set the direction for the church in its next season of ministry.

As part of that process, a list of missional strategies was discussed and ultimately voted on by the membership. With an overwhelming majority and in the midst of continued growth, it was decided that they needed to plant a new church in Madison County to reach into geographic areas of population increase as well as demographic groups that were not being engaged by FBCM. With that mandate, leadership began to pray for the planter to lead this church plant.

Redemption Church held it’s launch service in January of 2020 above the Candy Shoppe at Livingston. We have since moved to 1620 Mannsdale Road in Madison where we lease the old Parkway Church building.
